Brunch in Magog, every day of the week
Looking for brunch in Magog? At Oeufs et Crêpe, 1747 Rue Sherbrooke, brunch is served 7 days a week until 3 pm: from 6 am Monday to Friday and from 7 am on Saturday and Sunday. No cut-down brunch menu and no buffet — you order from our regular menu, from two eggs and bacon to 11 eggs Benedict.
What makes the difference is what we make ourselves. The hollandaise is whisked by hand every morning with real butter and real eggs, the pistachio crème is a recipe developed in our kitchen, and the coulis is made with real strawberries. Plates come with a generous bowl of fresh fruit — guests often mention it in their Google reviews. Service is bilingual, French and English.
Brunch plates worth ordering
To get sweet and savoury on one plate, start with the Choix Parfaits. The Coco Béné ($18.95) pairs one eggs Benedict with a half waffle, strawberries, banana and chocolate. The Assiette Champion ($20.95) serves three plain crêpes topped with fresh fruit, crème anglaise and chocolate, with two eggs or an omelette and your choice of meat. For big appetites, the Crêpe Célèbre ($19.95) lines up four berry crêpes. Prefer savoury? The Choix d’Œufs et Crêpe combos (from $16.25) add a filled crêpe to your two eggs and meat.
Eggs Benedict with house-made hollandaise
For many people brunch means eggs Benedict. Ours come on an English muffin, plain crêpe, French toast or bagel, with home fries, fresh fruit and coffee or tea — 11 versions, from the Béné Jambon ($17.50) to the Béné Saumon et Avocat ($21.95). Our signature Béné Œuf et Crêpe ($20.95) sets two poached eggs on steak, onions, peppers, avocado and Swiss cheese. See all 11 eggs Benedict.
The best brunch in Magog? You decide
We will not claim to be the best brunch in Magog — our guests do the talking. Our Google reviews (4.6 out of 5) keep coming back to three things: generous plates, lots of nicely presented fresh fruit, and fast, friendly service. Sweet dishes have their place too: our waffles, pancakes and French toast and our fruit crêpes are easy to share in the middle of the table.
Do you need a reservation for brunch in Magog?
Walk-ins are always welcome. Saturday and Sunday mornings are our busiest hours, so to guarantee a table — especially for a group — call (819) 843-2626. Reservations are by phone only.
Family brunch
The kids’ menu (12 and under) is $10.95 and includes a small juice, milk or chocolate milk: one egg with a meat, a cheese omelette, or French toast, a crêpe, a waffle or a pancake with fresh fruit or chocolate. The entrance is stroller-accessible and we serve you in French or English.
Is there a healthy brunch option in Magog?
Yes: the Assiette Santé ($17.95) is the light option on our brunch menu. It brings a poached egg, cottage cheese, a bowl of fresh fruit and a bagel. The Méli-Mélo bowls mix yogurt and crème anglaise with muesli and fruit, plus a bagel. Fresh-fruit smoothies ($7.95) and freshly squeezed orange juice round it out.
Brunch before the lake, the trails or the slopes
We are at 1747 Rue Sherbrooke — Magog’s Sherbrooke Street — a few minutes from Lake Memphremagog, about 15–20 minutes from Mont Orford and about 25 minutes from the city of Sherbrooke via Highway 10. A big brunch here is a good start to a day of cycling, hiking or skiing in the Eastern Townships.
“Very grateful for this new spot in the area, we've been here twice and what a great experience! The decor and food are amazing, very fresh and good drinks.”
